Mad Void is a coop platformer survival in which players have to wander through space layouts, gather items of various value, and bring them back to their ship in 5 minutes max. They have an ever-increasing quota value to reach in order to join the next mission.
The game is thought about fast-paced games with several gameplay emergence elements, particularly when it comes to coop gameplay (through the use of physics-based components).
As the game progresses, more and more special events come in to increase the main loop variety.
I have been in charge of the whole game design of Mad Void for the whole production time, including 3C, interactions, progression loops, content, UX, and little tasks here and there (sound design, quick prototyping and scripting...)
I have been designing all the game maps along with designing all of the features constituting the level design (enemies, landmarks, traps...) and scripting their behaviours.
